Enveloped in Glass Case

Kris, is a part of Indonesian culture.

It is a blade, with beautiful carving. People often use Kris for mythical purpose and traditional religious ceremonies. They are used mostly by Javanese people, although Kris are also found in many parts of Indonesian archipelago, and also in some of Southeast Asian countries.

The pictures below are displays of Kris, enveloped in glass case, in the Museum of Pusaka, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, east Jakarta.

🙂

It takes an endless amount of history to make even a little tradition.
